Whether you are a long-time denture wearer, or you recently lost multiple teeth, you may be looking for the most realistic restorative option. All-on-4® dental implants offer unrivaled stability for dentures. However, because this treatment involves surgical expertise and highly precise implant placement, you may be worried about the related costs. All-on-4® does cost more than some other restorative treatments. However, in the long run, these restorations may save you a significant amount of money. In addition, they have many cosmetic and functional benefits that make them an excellent investment. All-on-4® costs are different for each patient. At our Fort Worth practice, we will conduct a complete exam to provide you with an accurate treatment estimate.
What Is All-on-4®?
With All-on-4®, Dr. Damon can supply a full denture that will never slip out of place. With proper care, your custom-designed restoration could last the rest of your life. To determine if you are a good candidate for All-on-4® treatment, Dr. Damon will examine your jawbone and look for signs of bone loss. After finding the strongest areas of your jaw, he will position four small implants in your upper or lower dental arch. If you need to replace all of your teeth, he can provide All-on-4® on both arches. He will place the metal posts at angle to take advantage of the strongest areas of bone and minimize the impact to the surrounding tissues. During that same appointment, he will attach a temporary denture. When you have healed, you will return to receive your permanent restoration.
All-on-4® Costs Vary for Each Patient
Your treatment will be carefully designed to fit your individual needs. Therefore, it is impossible to provide a standard price for All-on-4® implants. The total cost of your procedure will depend on several factors including:
- Sedation: Your gums and jawbone will be numb during your implant surgery. However, you may also benefit from additional sedation. We offer several options including nitrous oxide, as well as oral and IV sedation. Some methods cost more than others.
- Type of restoration: You could choose a denture crafted from a range of materials. More advanced materials will cost more, but they will also look more realistic.
- Preparatory treatment: If you need a prior procedure, such as bone grafting or a sinus lift, this will affect the total cost of your treatment. However, one of the great advantages of All-on-4® is that it can often eliminate the need for these treatments.
All-on-4® Can Save You Money over Time
All-on-4® will cost more than traditional dentures because of the surgical placement of the dental implants. However, patients typically need to replace traditional dentures more often. You may also need to have them realigned as your jawbone recedes, and your dentures start to slip out of place. Over the years, these routine replacements and repairs can start to add up. In contrast, dental implants actually prevent bone recession. We can also craft your dentures out of high quality materials so they last longer. Perhaps more importantly, you will enjoy a firm jawline and youthful facial contours for years to come. Plus, All-on-4® dentures will never slip out of place, and they will be almost indistinguishable from natural teeth.
