Do you wear dentures or do you have a loved one who wears dentures in Dallas, TX? The staff at Texas Denture Clinic and Implant Center are the premier source for all of your denture needs. We are conveniently located on I-75 and Beltline Road in Richardson Tx near Dallas, TX. Our office is locally owned and operated by Dr. Clark Damon. You will have the feel and benefits of a traditional dentist owned and operated office versus the feel of the corporate dental chains.
What makes us so unique is that we care. We care for you like you are our family. We care that you can have the best results with your dentures. Dr. Damon and Dr. Blankenship are commonly heard telling patients we want your dentures to fit and look good that you tell everyone you know to come and see us.
For Dr. Damon and Dr. Blankenship to make dentures there are typically 4 steps – Consultation and Impression – Jaw Relation Records – Wax Viewing or Try in – and Delivery. In-between each of these steps, lab work is preformed for you – fabrication of wax rims – setting the denture teeth – and final processing of the denture.
After delivery adjustments are needed. Dentures are NOT an exact science and each denture may preform differently. Typically we can get the dentures fitting well after 1 or 2 visits. Some patients receive their dentures immediately after the teeth are pulled. This is called Immediate Dentures. Patients with immediate dentures need multiple soft liners – one every month – for 4-6 months. This allows for the proper healing time needed prior to making your dentures finalized with either a rebase or a reline.
We make dentures the traditional way and we DO NOT make dentures in a day like other places. The lab process takes about 8 hours in the lab so corners must be cut to make a denture in a day. I have trained my technicians to utilize the 2 best acrylics on the market – Diamond D and GC Americas – Hi Impact Acrylic for our upgraded acrylic. We process our dentures the heat cured way so there is very little residual monomer left and they are fully cured lending to the strongest possible denture. We also are tedious in providing retention to our denture teeth, removing all wax in the boil out process, and polish our dentures well.
