Achieve a Beautiful Smile With Porcelain Veneers in Fort Worth

Do you have discolored teeth? Are your teeth worn and cracked? Do you find yourself hiding your smile? Perhaps you once had a beautiful smile that made you feel confident, and you want to take it back.

Local Fort Worth cosmetic dentist Dr. Clark Damon has a solution – porcelain veneers.

A flawless smile may be the ticket to a job promotion, nailing your next sales pitch, or finding your dream date. We can upgrade your current smile into a natural, young, flawless, healthy smile with porcelain veneers.

What are Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain veneers, also known as dental veneers, are made of thin pieces of ceramic, which are attached to the upper and, in some cases, lower teeth. They are designed to enhance your smile and are a popular option because of being both simple and versatile. When you choose veneers, you will be able to completely mask discolored, crooked, or gapped teeth.

What Is The Process For Porcelain Veneers?

First, you will need to schedule a consultation so that you and Dr. Damon can discuss the goals and options for your smile. Dr. Damon will take a look and discuss what is possible and what you need to be done to achieve your goal.

Once we have developed and agreed to a plan, the start of your journey to a new smile with porcelain veneers will begin! Room for the veneer will be made by removing a small amount of enamel from each tooth. After this process, first impressions will be made; then, the case will be sent to a lab. Once in the lab, a ceramist – a specialized lab technician, will then begin the tedious task of making the custom, natural-looking veneers.

Dr. Damon uses a small personal lab – Summit out of Waco, TX. He feels they provide the best attention to detail and the best result for our patients. We take numerous preoperative photos to communicate back to the lab. Each veneer is crafted just for you, it will never be replicated, and no one else will have one similar.

How Do They Compare With Normal Teeth?

Once bonded to natural teeth, no one will be able to detect these ultra-thin veneers. They will simply see a bright and perfect smile. By being made in a lab, we control the size, location of the teeth, characterizations, and intrinsic coloration. Porcelain reflects light similar to enamel, and because they are so thin, they allow light to shine through them, similar to natural teeth and having the natural shade of teeth underneath.
