We're here to help, and we're an implant center. Everything happens here from start to finish, and all the lab work, all is handled here. So I want to briefly talk to you about permanent implants and same day teeth. So what all are we doing? We're taking out teeth, we're putting in implants, and then 97% of the time you are able to fit a prosthesis on to those implants and the patient walks out that day with permanent fixed teeth. That is the beauty of the whole thing -- the time-to-teeth concept. This can be a four-hour slot, and that's what we do. Patients ask all the time, "Can you really do teeth in a day?" and I say, "Yes, we do it all the time. In fact, we did it yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that. This is something that we do every day." So the answer is, "Yes, permanent same day teeth can happen." Now, you just walk in our office and say, "Hey, I want this, and, you know, let's go to surgery?" No. We take the appropriate steps of impressions, wax rims if necessary, a viewing. I want you to see the teeth before we ever do surgery to make sure that you like it. Then I'll schedule you for surgery. It takes place in one of our offices, Fort Worth or Dallas. It's under IV sedation, so you are comfortable the entire time. During the surgery we will remove the teeth if necessary, place the implants. If you need any bone grafting, we may add some then. It's no big deal. And then as long as the implants torque, and as long as we are meeting the protocol set by Maló, we will then load your implants that day, and you will walk out of our office with permanent fixed teeth in one day. What we give you is a temporary. You will wear a temporary for six months. Then at the six-month mark is when we then begin the finalization process, to finalize our patients is a new material called zirconia. Zirconia is a white metal that is milled in our office. It is then centered at 2,000 degrees Centigrade for 18 hours, to bake it, and to make it very strong. Our ceramist then goes in and adds porcelain to that, and these restorations look life-like. They look beautiful. It looks as if you have a full mouth of crown and bridge, or veneers, if you want that. The finalization process typically takes five appointments over about a three to a four-month process. The patients who are pursuing the permanent same day smile, or the permanent same day implants, are patients who have big lifestyles. These are patients who don't want to spend time in the dental office, and they can and they do.
