Implant-Supported Dentures:  The Ultimate Foundation for Replacing Lost or Failing Teeth

Do you have an existing set of dentures that may be loose? Are you needing Immediate dentures, but are desiring the hope of a more MODERN option? Tired of dental adhesives? Are you not wearing your existing set of dentures?

Dr. Damon at the Texas Denture Clinic and Implant Center in Fort Worth, Tx and Richardson, Tx has a solution - Implant-Supported Dentures - aka Snap on Dentures.

The Importance of Implants for Denture Patients

Implant Dentures, Snap on Dentures, or Dental Implants for Dentures are an excellent alternative for patients who are losing or missing teeth in one of both arches. Dental Implants can help maintain the bone in the jaws and improve your ability to chew. It also plays a vital role in securing a removable denture in the mouth.

Implant Dentures - The Clear Choice

With over 40 years of extensive clinical research and a high success rate, the use of denture implants, as a preferred alternative to standard conventional dentures is very common. Our patients who have elected implants to secure their dentures are more confident, have a better ability to chew and feel happier about themselves. Dental implants feel like real teeth compared to regular dentures. In addition, implant dentures feel more stable and secure.

Every patient at Texas Denture Clinic and Implant Center undergoes a rigid evaluation of their medical history, bone levels and existing teeth. This enables Dr.’s Damon to develop an implant procedure that suits that particular patient.

Additionally, in Dr. Damons two offices - Richardson, Tx and Fort Worth, Tx also uses high-tech imaging materials such as the latest 3D CT from iCAT. This is an integral imaging device used in our patient assessment and implant treatment procedure. This enables our staff to see different dimensional images of a patient’s existing teeth and their jaw. It also helps us in determining what implant will be best for a particular client. We can also accurately determine the perfect placement of a denture implant. At the same time, we can identify the areas that need additional bone support in order to achieve excellent results.

Benefits of Implant Dentures

  • Preserve Bone Levels: Losing teeth can cause bone deterioration in a short period of time due to lack of bone stimulation. With implanted dentures, the bone level around the implants are preserved. At the same time, this provides a secure, long-lasting foundation for implant dentures that are similar to healthy teeth.
  • Looks, Feels and Functions more like Real Teeth: Since they are securely anchored deep in the jaw, implants have better performance than traditional removable dentures. This increases a person’s biting force and enables them to eat food like they had their natural teeth. Finally, it enables them to once again smile with comfort and confidence
  • Help maintain Facial Structure Integrity: Implants help keep facial structures intact because they prevent bone deterioration that normally happens with missing teeth. This is very important for people who have multiple missing teeth because their facial profile could collapse due to steady bone deterioration.
